Diane’s official role at Optima Office is Staff Accountant/Bookkeeper. She started working at Optima just over 6 months ago. Diane is from Los Angeles, being born in Santa Monica and raised near LAX. However, through her adult life she has lived all over the states including San Diego, Spokane, Roseville, MI, Topeka and Olathe, Kansas—where her daughters were born. After years of being a nomad, she eventually moved back to San Diego, as she realized it is the best place to be! 

Diane loves working at Optima, but her favorite aspect is the flexibility in scheduling that she gets which allows her to work remotely and be with her loved ones more. Not to mention, she is extremely grateful for the support she gets from the entire Optima team, who have been nothing short from amazing.

Diane absolutely loves being an accountant. One thing that gives her great pleasure at work is digging into a client’s books and getting everything cleaned up and working for them. She also loves the sense of teamwork among her leads and other accountants, as she feels it is truly inspiring.

A pastime that Diane enjoys doing outside of work is attending vintage car tours. She loves looking at the charming and antique vehicles, but her favorite part involves traveling to areas she has never visited before with old friends and new. Some other hobbies that she enjoys are sewing, gardening, traveling, and writing,
